MBLI is a community of scholars, elected officials, business leaders, and community organizers who work together to share ideas and solutions in addition to providing support, information, and access to other local, emerging professionals and political leaders working towards progressive change.
MBLS is a statewide gathering for people of color who are elected officials, school officials, religious leaders, or community advocates. Discussed at the summit are issues that impact communities of color, successful models for governance, and practical strategies that work both collectively and within local communities that help move the state forward.
